    Requirement: 
    Transfer of SLES (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate) between two drums.

    The main requirements were:

    • Product: SLES, viscous like thick soap
    • Productivity: 1,000 l/h [1 m³/h]
    • Pressure: 1 bar
    • Conveying distance: approx. 5 meters
    • Immersion depth: 1200 mm
    • Connections: flexible

     

    Solution:

    • Motor: three-phase motor with quick-change coupling (SWK), 0.55 kW, 700 rpm, 230/400V, IP55   (item no. 530-0037)  
    • Motor protection: with circuit breaker, 1.6 - 2.5 A, IP55, 5-pole, 16 A   (item no. 810-0021)
    • Fastening: Lifting device material stainless steel   (item no. 745-0198)
    • Eccentric screw pump: Model ds 40.1-SWK-PTFE-GLRD-1200   (item no. 651-0110.12)

     

    Description: 
    Our stainless steel eccentric screw pump with PTFE stator is ideal for the challenges mentioned. Thanks to its robust design made of chemically resistant materials such as PTFE, it is ideal for use in the chemical industry and makes everyday work easier. The hydraulic performance of the eccentric screw pump can be influenced by the drive motor.

    • Customer benefits: The customer benefits from a reliable and low-maintenance solution that processes air bubbles in the medium without any problems, and the motor can be conveniently and securely attached to a holding device thanks to the sturdy retaining bracket. 
    • Flexibility: The flow rate can be precisely monitored by installing a flow meter, which optimizes process control.
    • Efficiency: The conveying capacity of 1 m³/h exactly meets the customer's requirements and the 1200 mm immersion depth enables the drums to be emptied completely.

    Requirement:
    Required drum pump for use in a 1,000 liter IBC container.

    • Medium: Aqueous solution of polyaluminum chloride with a density of 1.34 - 1.44 g/cm³ and a pH value of 3.4 - 4.4
    • Delivery head: 6 meters
    • Delivery rate: 40 l/min
    • Accessories: Filling option with 10 meter hose and a nozzle

    Description:
    The solution was specially tailored to the customer's requirements to ensure efficient and safe delivery of the medium:

    • Customer benefits: The polypropylene (PP) pumping unit offers excellent chemical resistance to the acidic solution, while the lightweight dispensing nozzle enables simple but above all precise dispensing.
    • Flexibility: The 10 meter long hose allows the customer to work flexibly and cover longer distances with ease.
    • Efficiency: The pump meets the required delivery rate of 40 l/min and easily reaches the specified delivery head of 6 meters.
    • Technical advantage: Our radial pumping stations are equipped with three delivery stages as standard, which enables a particularly high delivery rate with consistent efficiency. This design clearly sets us apart from other suppliers on the market.

    Requirement:
    A drum pump set is required for handling chemically aggressive media.

    • Medium: Nitric acid with a concentration of 60%
    • Container: 200 liter drums

    • Flexibility: The 2 meter long, chemical-resistant hose enables convenient handling and meets the required safety standards.
    • Efficiency: The electric motor (230 V) enables easy plug-and-play installation and ensures fast, reliable and powerful pumping.

    Requirement:
    A pump set that is as compact as possible for use with small containers.
