Requirement: 
A food manufacturer requires a reliable solution for pumping high-viscosity peanut butter (30,000 mPas) from 200-liter drums. The pump is to be mounted on a pneumatic double cylinder ramming press in order to empty the medium efficiently. The flow rate is approx. 22 l/min, the pressure connection must be designed as a milk pipe thread and the system must be suitable for the ATEX area.

  • Assembly: Pneumatic double cylinder ramming press for 200 liter container, incl. attachment kit for eccentric screw pump  (item no. 845-0200)

 

Description: 

The challenge in conveying highly viscous foods such as peanut butter lies in the consistency of the medium: it is viscous, sticky and yet must be transported gently in order to maintain its quality.

Our solution combines a powerful eccentric screw pump with an ATEX-certified air motor and a double cylinder ramming press to enable efficient drum emptying. The press ensures that even highly viscous products are completely removed from the container.

Thanks to the milk pipe thread connection, the pump is seamlessly integrated into existing production lines. This solution is particularly suitable for food manufacturers, cosmetics or pharmaceutical companies that need to transfer viscous or pasty media hygienically and efficiently.
