Drive motor p400-TS with life insurance against burn-out

The p400-TS motor series is equipped with a warning light for heavy loads and a temperature switch to protect the winding from "burning out". If the warning light lights up, this is an indication of a heavy motor load (heavy liquid, viscous liquid, many delivery stages); the lighting up of the warning light is not critical for the motor, but can lead to the motor being switched off if the operating status persists for a long time. 

A second temperature switch prevents the motor from overheating. A heavily loaded motor is at risk after switching off.

Without cooling air, the winding temperature rises at standstill and can lead to a short circuit. The motor is then irreparably damaged. The switching point of the temperature sensor is selected so that overheating at standstill does not cause winding damage.
If the motor has switched off during operation or if a start is not possible after a standstill, the motor will normally take several hours to cool down before restarting.

This cooling time can be reduced to 2-4 minutes.
