Requirement:
A customer needed a solution for emptying a plastic drum with a bunghole. The requirements in detail:
- Medium: Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) with a viscosity of 15,000 cps as well as other liquid surfactants, oils and organic compounds for cosmetics production.
- Operating parameters:
- Target time: Discharge within 15 minutes
- Motor: 220 V, single-phase motor, 60 Hz
- Challenge: Avoiding foam formation during conveying
Solution:
We offered the customer a progressive cavity pump with variable speed control that can be operated with both a 3-phase and a single-phase motor.
